TCCA offers a 4 year degree in Theology with majors in Pastoral, Missions and Education for those expecting to teach in secondary schools. TCCA also offers a 3 year diploma on Theology with the same majors. These credentials are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA).

Among ACTEA's purposes are:

• Facilitating academic recognition for theological education in Africa by providing accreditation.

• Fostering continental and inter-continental cooperation for theological education in Africa.

ACTEA is committed to quality Evangelical theological education in Africa. This ethos is shared with 7 similar Evangelical associations in other parts of the world - in Asia, Caribbean, Europe, Euro-Asia, Latin America, North America and South Pacific region. Together these constitute the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE) which meets every 3 years to consult on matters related to enhancing quality Evangelical theological education.

This means that a degree or diploma from TCCA provides internationally recognised quality assurance through academic standards as well as the assurance to Evangelical values that are globally shared. TCCA's ACTEA accreditation dates back to 1986.

In Practice, TCCA graduates have been able to pursue graduate studies in reputable graduate schools both on the African continent and beyond as well as providing significant Christian leadership in Zambia, Africa and beyond.

TCCA is recognised by Zambia’s Ministry of Education for teacher training.
